I have lived and breathed art my whole life! Since childhood, I was enrolled in every art class that I could be in. In high school I really dove deep into drawing and continued that for several years. When I went to college and had to choose a subject to major in, I originally chose Computer Science – the money maker. After about a year in and many gray hairs later, I switched back to arts. I was laughed at and was told I would become a starving artist, but I didn’t care. I wasn’t in it for the money – I was listening to my heart.

It’s no surprise when I say that the photography industry is an oversaturated market. You can find a family photographer on every corner of the street. But many people forget that photography is an artform, and much like drawing and painting, it is a craft that requires practice and patience.

I never thought I would be here today – owning my own successful photography business, where I am invited into so many sacred spaces with diverse families. Being the empathic emotional human that I am, I can give my promise that the art I create is made with this lifelong passion I’ve had since a child.
